Give for Good is a 24-hour online giving challenge led by The Community Foundation of North Louisiana to raise unrestricted dollars for the nonprofits in our community. It’s a day of giving to celebrate the nonprofits in our community and a chance to raise thousands of dollars to make our community even better -including our 40 year old classical ballet company, the Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet!

The Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet is proud to partner with Yearbook Life, an experienced national yearbook/memory book publisher, to create our 40th Anniversary Commemorative history this season! Nutcracker 2013

NutPhoto13The Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet is pleased to announce its 2013 performances of the holiday classic, The Nutcracker!

The ballet will be performed at Shreveport’s Riverview Theater on Saturday, December 7th and Sunday, December 8th, featuring professional guest artists from the San Francisco Ballet, the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Kermit Poling, and over 100 talented local dancers.

Tickets will be available to SMB members beginning September 23rd, and to the general public on October 1st.  Ticketing is available online, or by calling the SMB office at 318-221-8500.
