Minor cast dancers performing as soldiers during Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet’s The Nutcracker!

Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet announces minor cast auditions for the 2016 performances of the holiday classic, The Nutcracker!  Auditions will be held at Shreveport Dance Academy on Saturday, September 17th, 2016. Minor Cast dancers will perform as Reindeer, Mice, and Soldiers alongside SMB’s Company members and professional guest artists from Boston Ballet.

SMB produces the only local performance of this beloved ballet that utilizes a live orchestra and showcases talented local dancers in leading roles.
