Scholarships & Financial Aid

Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet is committed to making classical ballet accessible to young people and families in our community through scholarship support. Need-based scholarships are available to assist SMB Company dancers with the cost of participation. The deadline to apply for this scholarship for the 2023-2024 season is July 9, 2023.

The merit-based Beverly Williams Memorial Scholarship is awarded to dancers showing outstanding talent for and dedication to the art of classical ballet. Scores from the 2023 company audition, an essay, and an interview are used to determine the annual Beverly Williams winners. The deadline to apply for this scholarship for the 2023-2024 season is July 9, 2023.
