Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet is committed to making classical ballet accessible to young people and families in our community through scholarship support. Need-based scholarships are available to assist SMB Company dancers with the cost of participation.
The merit-based Beverly Williams Memorial Scholarship is awarded to one Junior Company and one Senior Company dancer showing outstanding talent for and dedication to the art of classical ballet. Dancers complete an essay and interview as part of the application process. The deadline to apply for this scholarship for the 2026-2027 season is June 12, 2026.
